And all that hipser “venmo” and “cash-app” thing? JESUS CHRIST. This is not going in the right directions. If this stupidity continues then our beloved country will be lost. Where are the real men??? We know people down in Puerto Rico have been wanting their own state for eternity. Many people rural residents in large democratic states such as Illinois feel often overwhelmed and overshadowed by mega cities. And after trying everything in the legal books, they have come to the only sensible conclusion of divorce. Yes you heard it right. We are not talking about divorcing your wife, although I am sure many of you would like to do that, but rather illinois divorcing Chicago. There is currently a resolution in our state calling on congress to declare our city the 51st state and it has eight Republican sponsors. Apparently down there in illinois they are not happy about our stance on guns, immigration, debt and pensions among many others. Several polls have found huge regional differences which does not come as a surprise to us. For all of those who do not know our state has been mired in debt and many fiscal problems for years, and everyone blames Chicago for it. Well what the hell we say go for it Carbondale or whoever you are. lol. We will just continue on our ways spending money on the many pleasures this city has to offer. La Dolce vita!

Lets face it: most people nowadays meet through online daring, and researchers have now utilized that data from various dating apps to quantify romantic attraction and pursuit. In other words, scientists managed to make sense of all those online messages and first dates. LOL.
Their study describes a hierarchy of desirability in the messaging tactics of online daters. Scientists have also found that both women and men messaged potential partners who where on average 25 percent more attractive than they were.

Interestingly enough white men and Asian women ranked highest in desirability measured by messaging metrics which were conducted anonymously and in four major U.S. cities.

Now it doesn’t take a degree from Harvard to figure out that men wrote more messages than women, and women were less likely to respond to a message. Both men and women wrote longer messages to potential dates who were more desirable. The number of words in a message however was not a predictor of successful responses. So guys don’t bother writing long messages because a one word message will get the same work done as an essay.

A few more findings that scientist made were that older women are less desirable (oh didn’t we all know that), but older men on the other hand were, or their wallets shall I say. haha. It also pays to go to college, guys, because as the study found, women desired men more who had a post-secondary education. Women were most desired at the age of 18 (HAHA!!!) and steadily declined until age 60 (NO Thank you). Men got to enjoy an increase in desirability until the age of 50. Now that dating stuff isn’t really different from the Polish Princess Escorting. You guys want that hot young Polish girl, while we want the educated and established gentleman.

A very popular dating app has recently been banned from advertising in Chicago. Or at the very least, many entities in Chicago do not feel comfortable with the OKcupid dating site and its sexy ads. The site’s new marketing campaign “DTFix Dating” which stands for “down to fuck” launched earlier this year in New York, but it has been banned by the CTA, the Chicago Park District, and Ohare International Airport. Apparently it is not ok to have sex in Chicago.
In one of their ads for example, a man and a women are seen in a pottery studio playing with clay and then smearing it into their faces. “DTFire up the Kiln” says a phrase below. LOL. And another ad by the name of “DTFootball Vs. Futbol” features a football sitting on a pair of soccer balls arranged in a way that resembles male genitalia.
Those ads received a very popular response in New York earlier this year, so the company felt they would get the same reaction in the Windy City — but apparently not. A spokesperson for OKCupid expressed disappointed with our city’s disapproval of their ads. She went further on to say that the phrase DTF needs to be redefined and that the city isn’t helping in any way.
A spokesperson for the CTA defended their decision stating that the OKCupid ads violated their advertising policy because it promoted “infidelity, escort services, and sexually-oriented products or businesses”. O’hare officials pretty much said the same thing. Whatever Chicago! Apparently it is not ok in Chicago to have sex. Guess everyone will be moving to New York now.

Chicago has always had a wild and interesting history starting with Al Capone. But there were other curiosities as well such as the American Plan which lasted from 1910 up until the 1950s. The plan literally involved Chicago police officials walking down the streets and looking for “Escorts”. Going back into the mid 19th century most supporters of arresting escorts were small business men because they feared that nearby brothels were hurting their bottom line. And on the other hand, businessmen situated far from brothers opposed closing such institutions as they feared that displaced Chicago escorts would move closer to them.
